The Sabal Homes Company’s COVID-19 Prevention Plan & Sales-Site Visitation Rules

*COVID-19 PLAN UPDATED: June 10th, 2020

In order to enter the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio under COVID-19 all individuals must:

• Wash hands with hand sanitizer upon entry to tour or inspect the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio.
• Maintain physical distancing of at least six feet between unrelated parties.
• Avoid touching surfaces within the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio.
• Read and agree to the posted Site Visitation Rules prior to entering.
• Read a digital copy of this COVID-19 Prevention Plan and agree to follow the plan prior to entering.

Measures to Prevent Infectious COVID-19 Disease Spread

• Avoid touching your eyes, mouth, and face.
• Avoid handshakes and close contact with others, and always wash and sanitize your hands following any contact.
• Maintain at least 6 feet of separation.
• Keep surface areas clean and disinfect regularly.
• Team Members and Visitors are to avoid touching surfaces at the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio including, but not limited to knobs, faucets, toilets and toilet handles, light switches, garage door opener buttons, handles and pulls, alarm system controls, remotes, thermostats, switch boxes, gates and gate latches, window locks and sashes, pool screens, and other such items.
• All individuals entering the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio are to use hand sanitizer.
• During a showing, introduce fresh outside air, for example by opening doors/windows and operating ventilation systems.
• Avoid passing transaction materials such as pens, paperwork, and keys back and forth between Team Members and customers.
• Provide proper sanitation products for use by Team Members and clients in all homes to be shown.
• All people entering the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio, including agents, brokers, inspectors, and clients, must use hand sanitizer upon entry to tour or inspect the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio.

Measures to Educate Visitors and Team Members

• Place a sign at each public entrance of the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio to inform all Team Members and customers that they should: avoid entering the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio if they have a cough or fever; maintain a minimum six-foot distance from one another; sneeze and cough into a cloth or tissue or, if not available, into one’s elbow; not shake hands or engage in any unnecessary physical contact.
• Post a copy of this COVID-19 Prevention Plan at each public entrance to the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio.

Measures to Minimize Contact

• Homes are to be shown by appointment only.
• Allow no more than two customers at one time and only one sales / design person.
• Open doorways or other areas of ingress and egress prior to in-person showings to minimize visitors touching surfaces.
• All information will be delivered electronically. Avoid providing handouts or other types of promotional or informational materials.

Measures to Increase Sanitization for COVID-19

• Perform thorough cleaning on high traffic areas of offices and areas of ingress and egress.
• Thoroughly clean shown properties and disinfect commonly used surfaces including counters, door and cabinet handles, key lock boxes, keypads, toilets, sinks, light switches, etc.  These surfaces must be cleaned and disinfected before and after each showing.
• Prior to and after concluding in-person showings, disinfect fixtures at the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio.
• Wipe down and disinfect equipment that passes between Team Members and customers, including clip boards and keys, after each use.
• Provide hand sanitizer in Showcase Home, Model, and Design Center where possible.

Sales Site Visitation Rules

As a condition to entering the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio, all individuals must:

• Read a digital copy of the site COVID-19 Prevention Plan and agree to follow the plan prior to entering.
• Wash hands with hand sanitizer upon entry to tour or inspect the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio.
• Maintain physical distancing of at least six feet between unrelated parties.
• Avoid shaking hands or engaging in any unnecessary contact.
• Cover coughs or sneezes with a tissue, then immediately throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.
• Avoid touching surfaces within the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio.

Individuals may not enter the Showcase Home, Model, or Design Studio if they currently have or have had in the past 14 days any of the following signs or symptoms of COVID-19:

• Fever
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Muscle Pain
• Sore throat
• Chills
• Repeated shaking with chills
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell

By entering the Showcase Home, Model, and Design Studio you hereby agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
